Welcome to CaptionThreads.com (the “Site”), operated by CaptionThreads (“we,” “us,” “our”). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
1) Eligibility and Use of the Site
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) to make a purchase. You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and not to misuse, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site or its systems.
2) Products, Print-on-Demand, and Order Accuracy
Our products are made to order. Because items are produced after you purchase, please review product details carefully before checking out (size, color, shipping address, and design selection).
We reserve the right to limit quantities, discontinue products, or change product pricing and availability at any time.
3) Pricing, Payments, and Billing
Prices are listed in USD unless stated otherwise. You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate purchase and account information.
We accept payments through third-party payment providers, including Stripe, WooPayments, Google Pay, Klarna, and Afterpay. Your payment may be subject to the provider’s terms, verification processes, and fraud checks. We are not responsible for delays or errors caused by payment providers.
4) Shipping and Delivery
Orders are made to order and typically ship in 5–7 business days (not including transit time). Delivery timelines vary by destination and carrier.
Once an order is handed to the carrier, delivery is outside our direct control. We are not responsible for carrier delays, missed delivery windows, or issues caused by incorrect addresses provided at checkout.
5) Returns, Refunds, and Exchanges (Defect-Only)
Because our products are made to order, all sales are final. We do not accept returns or exchanges for wrong size, buyer’s remorse, or preference changes.
If your item arrives misprinted, damaged, defective, or you received the wrong item, contact us within 7 days of delivery with your order number and clear photos. After verification, we will provide either a free replacement (reprint) or a refund, at our discretion (See our Returns & Exchanges page for the full process):
- Defective returns accepted within 7 days of delivery
- Items must be unworn, unused, and in original condition
- To start a return, contact support@captionthreads.com with your order number
Because items are made to order, we may not accept returns for buyer’s remorse, wrong size selection, or preference changes unless required by law. We will replace or refund items that arrive damaged, misprinted, or defective, subject to verification.
6) Cancellations and Order Changes
Because production may begin quickly, cancellations and changes are not guaranteed. If you need to change or cancel an order, contact us immediately at support@captionthreads.com. If the order is already in production or shipped, we may be unable to modify it.
7) Promotions and Discount Codes
Discounts and promo codes:
- Must be applied at checkout (cannot be applied after purchase)
- May be limited to specific products and time periods
- May be modified or ended at any time
8) Intellectual Property
All content on the Site—including text, graphics, logos, product designs, images, and site layout—is owned by CaptionThreads or licensed to us and is protected by intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, or exploit Site content without written permission.
9) User Content (Reviews, Comments, Submissions)
If you submit content (reviews, comments, photos, etc.), you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, publish, display, and distribute that content for business purposes (including marketing), unless prohibited by law.
You agree not to post content that is illegal, abusive, defamatory, infringing, or misleading.
10) Disclaimer of Warranties
The Site and products are provided “as is” and “as available,” to the fullest extent allowed by law. We do not guarantee that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
11) Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CaptionThreads will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues.
Our total liability for any claim relating to the Site or products will not exceed the amount you paid for the product(s) giving rise to the claim.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
12) Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless CaptionThreads from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including attorneys’ fees) arising from your misuse of the Site, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any rights of another.
13) Third-Party Services and Links
The Site may rely on third-party services (payments, fulfillment, shipping, analytics). We are not responsible for third-party websites, services, or their policies. Your use of third-party services may be governed by their terms.
14) Termination
